June 2008
After a busy month of May that included a recital at the Vienna Boesendorferfabrik, concerts at the new Bedford Chamber Music Festival, and a performance of Howard Ferguson's Piano Concerto at the Hampstead & Highgate Festival that was applauded in the Sunday Times, Danny is preparing to record all of York Bowen's Piano Sonatas for Hyperion Records during July and August. His first CD for Hyperion, featuring Bowen's 3rd and 4th Piano Concertos (see news items below) will be released on November 1st.

January 2008

December 2007
Danny was featured in the November/December edition of International Piano Magazine, in an interview about his recording of York Bowen's 3rd and 4th Piano Concertos for Hyperion (see 'August 2007' below). To read the full article, please click here


August 2007
Danny spent a week in Glasgow recording York Bowen's 3rd & 4th Piano Concertos with the BBC Scottish Symphony conducted by Martyn Brabbins. The CD will form part of Hyperion's Romantic Piano Concerto series and will be released in the Autumn of 2008. Stay tuned for BBC broadcasts of these works before then.


May 2007
Danny was selected for an artist showcase at the 2007 Performing Arts Exchange Conference in Louisville, Kentucky. Selected from a highly competitive field, he is one of only four classical artists/groups picked, and the only solo instrumentalist in his category.


March 2007
The Linden Trio has a new website (www.lindentrio.com) which will be developed over the coming months. Next season includes trio debuts at St George's Bristol and at Richmond Concert Society, as well as a musical cruise on the Danube with international clarinettist Michael Collins.


23rd December 2006
Danny Driver was singled out in the Daily Telegraph's classical review of the year 2006 by Geoffrey Norris.
